Halito Everyone,

The GIS Manager for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma GIS Department has a lot of experience with working with Government Land Office Maps (GLO) for Oklahoma. Sometimes GLO maps can have a hidden cache of information that can be used to aid in researching and identifying the late 1800's Indian Territory landscape. Oh and they look super cool when you GeoReference them! Below is a link to a presentation Dustin Hold did in 2013.
